BrowserCMS 3.1.5 and 3.3.3 have been released
January 25, 2012 21:46
These two versions are for both the Rails 2.3.x and Rails 3.0.x branches respectively. Their primary goals were to improve the performance of the CMS, especially for larger sites (i.e. thousands of pages/files). The most noticeable improvements should be on the Sitemap, as well a viewing pages and the content library.
v3.3.2 Released
September 22, 2011 20:34
This is a maintenance release for the Rails 3.0 branch of BrowserCMS. It should simplify starting new projects and deploying them into production. In bcms-3.3.1, there were a number of configuration changes that were required before sites could be deployed. The 'correct' settings should now be generated when new BrowserCMS projects are created.
It's a Brand New Site!
March 31, 2011 10:30
We are proud to officially launch the new browsercms.org site. As you can see, we have a brand new design to replace our rather "Spartan" previous one. In addition, we now have a new Modules Directory where developers can officially let the community know when new modules are available for download.
We should also have some exciting announcements coming up over the next few weeks, prior to RubyNation, including getting ready to release a Rails 3 compatible version of BrowserCMS.
